This Privacy Policy explains what information SEOTools.info (“we”, “us”, the “Service”), operated by SEOTools.info, collects and how it is used. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
You provide
- Account data — your email address, name and a securely hashed password.
- Content you add — the domains, projects, keywords, backlinks and notes you enter.
- Third-party API keys (e.g. Ahrefs, DataForSEO) — stored encrypted and used only to make requests on your behalf.
- Support messages you send us.
Connected Google accounts (optional)
If you connect Google, we request read-only access to Search Console and Analytics for the properties you choose, via Google OAuth. We use this solely to display your metrics inside your dashboard. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can disconnect at any time in your account, and revoke access in your Google Account settings.
Collected automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser/user-agent, pages viewed and basic events, used for security and to improve the Service.
- Cookies & analytics — an essential session cookie for sign-in, and Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. See “Cookies” below.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the Service and your account.
- To fetch and display the SEO metrics you request from connected providers.
- To send transactional email (email confirmation, password, security, support replies) and — unless you opt out — product/lifecycle email.
- To detect abuse, debug issues and improve features.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sub-processors & third parties
We rely on the following providers to run the Service. They process data only as needed to provide their function:

4. Cookies
We use a strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies for aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the sign-in cookie is required to use your account.
5. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law or resolve disputes.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encryption of secrets in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, access controls). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. You may also unsubscribe from product emails using the link in any such email.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notified to you.
