The story

It began as bookkeeping for the links we buy — and grew into scheduled control that tells you the moment a placement changes.

01 — The task

Keep account of bought links — and make sure they stay correct

We place and buy a lot of links, and needed to know each one actually stays live and correct after the money’s gone. By hand it doesn’t scale: a page gets reworked and your link quietly vanishes, an anchor gets edited, a dofollow flips to nofollow, a whole domain drops out of the index — and you keep paying as if nothing happened. So the ledger became scheduled link control with full history.

02 — What we built

Projects that re-verify every placement on a schedule

For each link you record what it should be — source → target, expected anchor, dofollow/nofollow, type, tier, text or image, where it came from and its price — and every check measures what it actually is: page status and whether your link is still present, the real dofollow/nofollow, the anchor found vs expected, full 301 redirect chains, a best-effort Google index check and the page’s outbound-link count. Around it: anchor-health warnings, block-lists and wishlists, spend by type and tier, per-project teams with per-member permissions and contributor attribution, and public read-only client reports — all with history.

03 — What the report shows

The whole project, and every link’s history

For a project at a glance:

  • Live vs lost — how many placements survived
  • Dofollow ratio — followed vs nofollow
  • Anchor health — over-optimization warnings
  • Redirect chains — when a target quietly moves
  • Indexation — what share is still in Google
  • History — the exact day a link changed
04 — How it helps

Stop paying for links that quietly died

You find out the moment a re-check catches a removed link or a flip to nofollow — not months later in an audit. You can prove to a client that placements are intact with a live, read-only report. Over-optimized anchor profiles surface before they become a risk. And the wishlist plus spend breakdown turn link buying from guesswork into a plan.

How it’s built

Backlink monitoring software in three levels: projects, a project, a link

Group placements into projects — one per client or campaign — open a project to work the full link table, and open any link to read its complete check history. Every view is its own URL, so a project report is a link you can share.

Level 1

Projects

A card per client or campaign with live / lost counts, dofollow ratio and total spend at a glance.

Level 2

The project

The full link table — status, anchor, type, tier, price, contributor — with filters, budget analytics, block-lists, wishlist and team.

Under the hood

What keeps every link honest

Manual checks don’t scale and cost real API money. As backlink monitoring & analysis software, it re-verifies on a schedule, keeps index checks cheap, and stores every result so nothing is lost.

Scheduled re-checks

A background scheduler re-verifies every placement on a cadence — page, link presence, rel, anchor and redirects — with a manual re-check any time you want fresh data.

Cheaper index checks

Google site: lookups run as DataForSEO STANDARD tasks (~3× cheaper than live) collected in the background, so indexation costs stay low.

Browser emulation

Links that only appear after JavaScript render can be checked with optional browser emulation — opt-in, since it’s heavier.

Full history

Every check is stored, so a link’s timeline shows the exact day status, rel or anchor changed — not just today’s snapshot.

Per-project teams

Members add their own links with per-member permissions, and every link keeps its contributor — so you know who placed what.

Sharing built in

Public read-only reports for clients and shared inventory-check forms for link builders, on a share token (custom domain on Agency).

Better than a checklist

Why it’s the best backlink monitoring tool for the job

01
Losses surface the day they happen
A removed link or a flip to nofollow shows up on the next re-check — not months later in an audit.
02
Proof for clients
A live, read-only report shows placements are intact, followed and indexed — no screenshots to assemble.
03
Anchor risk under control
The anchor-health profile warns when exact-match anchors tip over-optimized, before it becomes a penalty.
04
Budget you can defend
Spend by type, tier and member — plus block-lists — so money goes to links that survive and pass value.
05
The next buys, planned
The wishlist keeps target pages you still want, so outreach works from a list instead of memory.
Honest caveats. The index check is best-effort — Google publishes no official index API. Browser emulation is heavier, so it’s opt-in per link. Unlike most free backlink monitoring tools, the Free plan still runs real scheduled re-checks — it’s just limited to 1 project; the paid backlink monitoring plans, Pro and Agency, are unlimited (Agency adds white-label reports on a custom domain).
